Something About Wine was started by Vera who has both a business background as well as extensive wine education. After taking a master's degree in International Business, Vera worked many years as a Business Controller but eventually found out it was boring and started studying wine.

She took all possible courses during seven years and finished with a Diploma in Wines in Spirits by WSET in London.

​

Vera has a long experience working for major wine import companies in Norway.

​

Vera has a special interest in Port wine and has the privilege to be a member of the Confraria do Vinho do Porto (The Brotherhood of Port Wine). Furthermore Vera has a deep interest in the wines of the Czech Republic.
